Two Indian students win 2025 MIT Supply Chain Excellence Awards

Two Indian American students — Srishti Garg and Devangi Deoras — are among 34 exceptional students from nine top undergraduate supply chain programs across the U.S. to win 2025 MIT Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
While Garg from Arizona State University is one of 21 students winning the $30,000 2025 MIT Supply Chain Excellence Award, Deoras from Michigan State University is among 13 named honorable mentions for a $15,000 prize.

Presented annually, the MIT Supply Chain Excellence Awards honor undergraduate students who have demonstrated outstanding talent in supply chain management or industrial engineering, according to a media release.
These students originate from the institutions that have collaborated with the MIT Center for Transportation and Logistics’ Supply Chain Management master’s program since 2013 to expand opportunities for graduate study and advance the field of supply chain and logistics.
In this year’s awards, the MIT SCM master’s program has provided over $800,000 in fellowship funding to the recipients. Recipients can use their awards by applying to the SCM program after gaining two to five years of professional experience post-graduation. Fellowship funds can be applied toward tuition fees for the SCM master’s program at MIT, or at MIT Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) network centers.
