The Don hogs credit for everything from making America hot again to ending seven ‘un-endable’ wars around the world

The escalator stalled, the teleprompter spluttered, the audio failed. But nothing could stop Donald Trump, POTUS 45&47, from raving and ranting for nearly an hour about the failures of the United Nations and how he alone could save the world.

Delivering what one scribe called “a sledgehammer of a message” to friends and foes alike, Trump told European leaders that they were destroying their own countries with their policies on immigration, green energy and political correctness.

“Your countries are going to hell,” he said criticising their immigration policies, “If you don’t stop people that you’ve never seen before, that you have nothing in common with, your country is going to fail.”

Bragging “I’m really good at this stuff, ” the former real estate mogul even chided the U.N. for not hiring him to remodel the U.N. headquarters, saying they could have had real marble and mahogany instead of imitations.

Trump also repeated his claim that in just seven months he had ended seven ‘un-endable’ wars around the world, including the one between Pakistan and India that Modi still obstinately refuses to acknowledge.

“It’s too bad that I had to do these things instead of the United Nations doing them — and sadly, in all cases, the United Nations did not even try to help,” he said claiming, “Everyone says that I should get the Nobel Peace Prize.”

But he made no mention of his failure to bring peace in either Gaza or Ukraine and instead laid the blame for the continuing war in Ukraine at the doors of China, India and NATO.

“China and India are the primary funders of the ongoing war by continuing to purchase Russian oil — but inexcusably, even NATO countries have not cut off much Russian energy, ” he said. Suggesting Europe was “funding the (Ukraine) war against themselves,” Trump quipped, “Who the hell ever heard of that one?”

Claiming “triple sabotage at the UN” —  a bad escalator, a bad teleprompter and bad audio —  Trump demanded an investigation with his aides suggesting the escalator was stopped on purpose to humiliate the president.

In support, aides cited Times of London report saying that U.N. staff members had joked that they would turn off the escalators and “tell him they ran out of money” amid sweeping U.S. funding cuts.

Finally, the U.N. ordered a probe after Saying the escalator had stopped because a White House videographer mistakenly triggered an emergency brake and it was the White House that was operating a faulty teleprompter during Trump’s speech.

Earlier, Trump sent businesses into a bit of a tailspin when he announced that each H-1B, which allows companies to hire foreign skilled workers for specialized roles, would come with a $100,000 fee.

Even as the new fee drew backlash from many in the tech industry, the move could further strain U.S.-India relations as about 70% of H-1B holders are Indian citizens.

India, which has already protested a 50% levy imposed by Trump on Indian exports for buying Russian oil, worried the new measure would likely “have humanitarian consequences by way of the disruption caused for families.”

But instead of easing up, Trump said the U.S. will impose a 100% tariff on imported branded drugs, — a move that would hit India hard —  25% tariff on imports of all heavy-duty trucks, 50% tariffs on kitchen cabinets and a 30% tariff on upholstered furniture next week.

While corporate America is bending over backwards to please the big boss, Disney instead of towing the Trump line chose to watch its bottom line to bring back late night comedian Jimmy Kimmel after a brief suspension over comments regarding assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

As his comeback show reached 6.26 million viewers as per Disney, Kimmel predicted Trump will “try to sue” ABC over the show’s return saying, “He does know bad ratings.”

Trump was not amused. “I can’t believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back,” he said mulling “to test ABC” again. “Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 Million Dollars,” he wrote. “This one sounds even more lucrative. A true bunch of losers! Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad Ratings.”

Kimmel may have slipped out for now, but Trump got a bigger catch in former FBI Director James Comey, who led the probe of his 2016 campaign for possible Russia ties that trump has dismissed as a witch-hunt about “Russia hoax.”

Comey was hit with two federal charges —false statements to Congress, and obstruction of a congressional proceeding, days after Trump ramped up pressure on his Justice Department to prosecute his most prominent adversaries.

The New York Times decried Trump trampling the “department’s tradition of keeping a distance from politics and the White House, and raised the prospect of more arbitrary charges.”

Trump thanked his desi FBI director Kash Patel and his team for the  “Indictment of the Worst FBI Director in the History of our Country, James “Dirty Cop” Comey… “ a total SLIMEBALL!”

Praising the Comey indictment Trump insisted he’s not seeking “revenge,” saying, “It’s about justice.”

A follower Sheila P@SheilaPi approved with a meme of Trump harvesting ‘Comey’ saying, “It’s harvest season…Comey is just the beginning of the end for the Deep State!!! Panic In DC!”

White House also posted pictures of Trump reviewing a new Presidential Walk of Fame in White House, featuring portraits of each of the previous commanders-in-chief — except his predecessor, who was represented by a photo of an autopen signing Joe Biden’s name.

Perhaps it was also meant to be a writing on the wall for Comey and others — that there would be no autopen to sign their pardons, as Trump has frequently alleged about Biden doing in his last days.
