“The Democratic Party is a big tent,” remarked Shekar Narasimhan, Chairman, and Founder of AAPI Victory Fund, in an interview with The American Bazaar. “Communities of color represent 38 percent of this real estate. By bringing us together on stage with the President, the AAPI Victory Fund is leading the way in building an inclusive and growing America.”

He continued, “Asian American voters are going to be key to the success of Democratic candidates up and down the ballot in 2024. Between now and Election Day, we have robust plans to persuade and mobilize AAPI voters in culturally competent ways to speak to our communities’ values – while also aggressively calling out the harmful, xenophobic policies and rhetoric coming from Donald Trump and extremist Republicans.”

Following the endorsement, the AAPI Victory Fund took to social media to reaffirm its support for Biden’s re-election bid. In a tweet, the organization highlighted its early endorsement of Biden in January 2020 and emphasized the ongoing importance of rallying behind candidates who champion the values and priorities of AAPI communities.
