Ann Coulter tells Nikki Haley to ‘go back to your own country’
US born daughter of immigrants from India faces racist rant from Conservative pundit on launching White House bid
As Nikki Haley, US born daughter of Sikh immigrants from India launched her presidential campaign, she faced a racist tirade from Conservative pundit Ann Coulter.
In an appearance on the “The Mark Simone Show” podcast this week, Coulter made several xenophobic comments about Haley, the first Indian American to serve in a presidential cabinet as US ambassador to the United Nations under former President Donald Trump.

“Why don’t you go back to your own country?” Coulter, known for her racist and anti-immigrant stances, told the former two term governor of South Carolina. She attacked India as well.
“Her candidacy did remind me that I need to immigrate to India so I can demand they start taking down parts of their history,” she said. “What’s with the worshipping of the cows? They’re all starving over there. Did you know they have a rat temple, where they worship rats?”
Haley did not respond to NBC News’ request for comment.
Coulter also called Haley a “bimbo,” “an absolutely ridiculous character,” and a “preposterous creature,” criticizing her for having advocated removing the Confederate flag from the grounds of the South Carolina Statehouse in the wake of the 2015 shooting at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston.
“This is my country, lady,” she said. “I’m not an American Indian, and I don’t like them taking down all the monuments.”

Asserting that she doesn’t “like to make predictions,” Coulter said she doesn’t think Haley “will get more than 2% of the vote.” She called her “weak on the issue of immigration” and suggested that her own state will not vote for her.
Haley announced her candidacy Tuesday, making her the first Republican opponent for Trump, for whom Coulter has been a vocal proponent
Haley, 51, was born in South Carolina in 1972. Her parents immigrated to the US from Punjab via Canada. In a video she released, announcing her candidacy, she described herself as “a proud daughter of Indian immigrants,”
Born Nimrata Nikki Randhawa, Haley called herself “not Black, not White, but different.” She talks about how her mother always told her that her job is “not to focus on the differences, but on the similarities.” Her parents told her and her siblings every day how blessed they were to live in America, she said in the video.

This is not the first time Coulter has lashed out at Haley for the removal of the Confederate flag. In 2015, at the time of the incident, she said Haley doesn’t understand America because she is “an immigrant” with roots in India.
In an appearance on Fox News, she said she “would really like to like Nikki Haley since she is a Republican,” but added that she “is an immigrant and does not understand America’s history.”

A country of immigrants should not be suggesting anyone to “go back to their country”, literally all the white people in America are of European descendants, who murdered the natives and claimed their lands. Such hypocrisy.
It is a sad commentary by Arun Kumar regarding Nikki Haley. Arun Kumar writer of the article does not include a real class of Newyork Times editorial writer Thomas L Friedman. Mr. Friedman has written mentioning Ms. Haley who represented the USA at United Nations, a great honor and position. She was governor of the great state of North Carolina. I would not be surprised if Ms. Haley is nominated as Vice president from the republican side. It seems like Mr.Arun Kumar does not have enough knowledge regarding the full credentials of Ms. Haley.
