Los Angeles: The 21st annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles kicked off on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, and ran through October 15, 2023, with opening and closing galas held at the Harmony Gold Theater and films screened at the Regal Cinemas in downtown Los Angeles. This year’s festival featured what Executive Director of the festival, Christina Marouda, called their most “eclectic and diverse lineup yet”. Films hailed from South Asian filmmakers around the world from New Zealand, the United States, India, France, the United Kingdom, to Bangladesh, and more.
The festival also featured a Masterclass with IFFLA alum Vishal Bhardwaj whose film, ‘Khufiya’ opened the festival, a social media panel featuring influencers across various mediums like dance and broadcast, as well as several Q&A’s with filmmakers.
