One of the most significant announcements during the visit was the agreement to co-produce fighter aircraft engines in India, representing a substantial advancement in defense cooperation, USINPAC said.
Additionally, India announced a $3 billion investment in Micron semiconductors, further strengthening bilateral ties in the semiconductor sector.
Progress was also made in simplifying the visa process for citizens of both nations, facilitating smoother travel for businesses and individuals.
“USINPAC’s decades of work are bearing fruit,” said Suraj Patel, a Congressional candidate from New York and a member of USINPAC. “It has played an instrumental role in laying the groundwork for the growing friendship and investment ties between India and the USA.”
“Prime Minister Modi and President Biden emphasized the importance of collaboration, sustainability, and mutual democratic respect, providing a clear path forward,” Patel noted.
